Expectations and feelings boil to the roof only on seeing a glimpse of a tussle between the two DC Comic giants, the Bat vigilante and the Man Of Steel. Creating a sensational buzz across the world, Dawn of Justice has been sending out ripples of excitement across the globe since its trailers released. Yes, the Batman blocking a blow from the Superman is just awesome, but that is not all that a movie needs. Isn’t it ?

Picking it up from the last scene of the war from Man of Steel, Zack Snyder sets the ball rolling of a clash between the DC titans. Dawn of Justice is an amazing recipe for the Disaster of the year award. A loosely tied plot, no perfect transition between the scenes , day dreaming super heroes and the same old cinema family drama makes it  a pain to sit through  the movie.

Considering the casting, I had serious doubts with Ben Affleck as the Batman, but kudos to the 43 year old, who does not make you miss Bale for a very long time in the 150 minute journey. He takes his time, but as the movie progresses, he seems to fit into the mighty boots left behind by an amazing Christian Bale. Moving on to the guy who spelled a disaster as the Superman in Man of Steel, Henry Cavill once again stutters as the man in the red capes. The negative role played by Jesse Eisenberg, the Zuckerburg from The Social network is some performance. DC takes announces its female superhero, the Wonder Woman, played by Gal Gadot. Dealing mighty blows and other than some cheesy dialogues, the Wonder Woman’s presence is nothing but a wonder, which makes her seem as a surplus addition.

Set in the famous city of Gotham and parts of Washington, Larry Fong- the cinematographer does proper justice to the action sequences, locations and everything concerned with the lens. Yes, the only parts that I enjoyed watching were the action scenes between the two superheroes and despite those sequences the movie has nothing much to offer, especially if you are a DC fan. Music by Hans Zimmer goes unnoticed in most part of the movie just like, most of the movie to the viewer.

Last of all, Dawn of Justice, is an OK film if you have never seen something like the Avengers or the Dark Knight Series. However, if you are a die hard DC fan, you can try and convince yourself to witness this wrath of a movie. So, does the Superman bleed? How does Affleck fit into the huge and all powerfull new bat suit? And is it really the Dawn of Justice or the Sunset of the DC Family ? To get all these questions answered, go and treat your eyes to some classic muscle competition between Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne.
