The super hit laughter juggernaut brought in by the Nadiadwala production house raised some eyebrows and tickled the funny bone of a lot of people. Reintroduced in 2012, the series turned to make even more money and much more people laughed their heart out. The third edition of this series is expected not only to maintain but spread the laughter to even a larger audience.

From the very first scene, the new set of directors Shahid-Farhad ruffle you up with no brainers and senseless jokes which may initially irritate you but then you realise that these jokes have been the very base of the series. Retaining Akshay Kumar, Boman Irani, Chunky Pandey, Ritesh Deshmukh and Jacqueline Fernandez from the previous flicks and introducing the likes of Jackie Shroff, Nargis Fakhri, Lisa Haydon and Abhishek Bachchan, the makers make sure that the movie adores all the aspects covered by the Housefull series. A variety of stars, senseless jokes, Mika Singh dance songs and a comic villain, Housefull 3 is the perfect Housefull movie.

Director Shahid-Farhad do not make much tampering with the Sajid Khan recepie and that is why the movie smells stale for most of the time. Set in London with a glimpse of India, cinematography and camera shots fit the mood. From the very first Housefull movie, establishing perfect screenplay and chemistry between such a wide variety of actors has been a challenge which the Housefull teams have beautifully managed over the years. As we move inbtot he second half, content with the naïve comedy, surprisingly we are enriched with a good story and some remodelled and laughable comedy, which helps you sit through.

Achieving its target of being the perfect family comedy movie, Housefull does its job but stumbles at major points. Unlike Waiting, this is one for the mass and if you feel like relaxing and getting entertained without interference from your brain, Housefull 3 is the movie for you.

My Rating: 2.5/5
