Impressing upon the incredible friendship between Jai and Veeru, one of Ramesh Sippy’s classics is not only the story of two guys hunting down a gang of goons, but also one which beautifully brings out the common things guys do in friendship. From getting you your love to taking a bullet for your friend, the Amitabh-Dharmender duo was one of the firsts to define friendship on the 70 mm screen.

One of Bollywood’s most remembered Bollywood classics, China Gate, is definitely one of the films in my bucket list for this Friendship’s day. With a grandly decorated star cast, China Gate is the story of a bunch of retired army officers, whom life gives one last chance to battle off the disgrace and gloom in their lives. The movie deals with the relationship between these men and how the bond of friendship forces them to fight for one another to fight a gang of dacoits.The movie even gave Bollywood one of its top item songs, Chamma Chamma, which is still a frequent presence in people’s playlists.

  • Do MAstaane Chale Zindagi Banane:Andaaz Apna Apna

From cheesy dialogues to lame jokes, this 1990’s classic deals with the life of two friends, Amar and Prem and the journey they take to marry a millionaire’s daughter to fulfil their dreams of getting rich. Directed by one of Bollywood’s best, Rajkumar Santoshi, Andaaz Apna Apna is a hilarious comedy of errors and brings out the funny side of one of Bollywood’s most rememberd friendship, amir and Salman. This list seems incomplete without it’s mention.
